Greenhouse cover options
Polycarbonate
It is only used to cover the sides and facades of greenhouses as it is not effective in terms of light transmission to compare with film and glass. While choosing polycarbonate for a greenhouse, we need to pay attention to two parameters of this material: color and thickness. The thicker the polycarbonate sheet, the better its resistance and strength. And the ideal option would be to use the type in two layers. A polycarbonate with a special inner layers is very effective in preventing condensation on the inner walls of the greenhouse.
Glass
Glass greenhouses transmit almost 100% of the light. Glass retains transparency for almost its entire life. Many growers believe that 1% more light means 1% more potential yield. The glass cover of the greenhouse allows more sunlight to enter the greenhouse, maximizing the photosynthesis. Glass provides the maximum amount of natural light for year-round cultivation.
Polyethylene (PE)
Polyethylene (PE) film is the lightest and cheapest type of cover in use. The service life is usually about 3 years, the light transmittance is up to 90. We offer our customers PE covers made in only in Russia and European countries. These covers are installed by our professional team and are guaranteed.
Ethylene-vinyl acetate ( EVA)
Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) is offered exclusively by our company. It has 96 % of light transmission. Service life is about 7 years. It is high strength cover and possesses anti drip, hydrophilic, wind resistant, hail resistant, frost resistant characteristics. It resists to punctures and cracking as well.
